Empowering the People Who Keep the World Running
Curate Labs is revolutionizing how field service technicians access and apply critical technical knowledge. Founded in September 2024, our mission is to ensure field service teams can accomplish their tasks efficiently and accurately, without the frustration of searching through manuals or waiting for expert assistance.
Our Story
The idea for Curate Labs and our flagship product CoraHelps emerged from a critical challenge in military electronic warfare operations. While serving in the Utah National Guard, our team faced the complex task of training electronic warfare technicians supporting special operations under extraordinary constraints. These technicians needed to master sophisticated equipment that was constantly being upgraded and adapted based on real-world battlefield feedback, yet they had limited training time and formal instruction that often lagged behind current operational needs.
The situation was clear: traditional training methods and documentation couldn't keep pace with rapidly evolving equipment and tactics. Critical knowledge was being shared through informal channels – messages and conversations between technicians in the field reporting what actually worked in combat situations. This real-world expertise was invaluable but ephemeral, often lost as quickly as it was gained.
We realized this challenge wasn't unique to military operations. Across industries, field service technicians face similar pressures: complex equipment that's constantly evolving, limited training time, and a gap between formal documentation and real-world application. The most valuable knowledge often exists in the conversations between experienced technicians rather than in official manuals.
This realization led to the development of CoraHelps, a platform designed to capture, validate, and deliver practical expertise exactly when and where it's needed. While our military experience shaped our approach to the problem, we've built a solution that transforms how knowledge is shared and applied across all field service operations.
Our Approach
Curate Labs combines three powerful innovations to transform field service support:
- Knowledge Where It's Needed: We deliver expert guidance through messaging apps technicians already use, because we understand that phones are the only reliable tool in tight spaces and challenging environments.
- Context-Aware Intelligence: Our advanced knowledge graph technology understands the complex relationships between equipment, configurations, and maintenance histories, ensuring technicians receive precisely targeted guidance for their specific situation.
- Real-World Expertise: We capture and validate practical knowledge from actual technician conversations, preserving critical insights that don't exist in official documentation. This ensures our guidance reflects real-world conditions and proven solutions.
Our Solution in Action
Field service organizations using Curate Labs experience:
- Instant access to targeted technical guidance
- Seamless knowledge capture from seasoned technicians
- Rapid onboarding of new team members
- Consistent service quality across locations
- Preservation of critical expertise from retiring veterans
